Your role:
You will take the lead on delivering compliance and advisory services to our clients. You will use your commercial awareness and professional expertise, along with leveraging the skills and expertise of others, to provide the best possible experience to our clients.
You will be empowered to own and manage client relationships and projects, with the appropriate level of support and resources around you. You will be expected to proactively identify innovative solutions for our clients and pursue new business development opportunities by utilising your technical skills, networks and market knowledge.
You will be expected to dedicate time and take responsibility in actively leading and developing junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Take a lead in delivering core Mobility Tax compliance services (e.g. preparation and delivery of income tax returns, Forms P11D, payroll calculation), technical advisory, and consulting projects of your clients;
- Manage diverse engagement teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution;
- Work together with the senior leadership to proactively identify innovative solutions for clients and to pursue new business development opportunities while progressing group's strategic plan;
- Proactively engage in the multidisciplinary projects delivered together with other service lines including human capital consulting, technology & analytics, employment tax, payroll advisory and operations, immigration, social security, and many other specialists across Deloitte, both in the UK and EMEA;
- Own and deepen relationships of your clients and establish trust through day-to-day communication and quality deliverables;
- Share your expertise and knowledge with other members of your team by actively coaching and training junior members of the team
Your experience:
A successful applicant will possess many of the following key skills and attributes:
Work Experience
- Experience working in an equivalent professional firm environment
Skillsets
- Relevant qualifications preferred (ATT, CTA, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
- Basic operability of Microsoft Office
- Fluency in verbal and written business English
- Experience in technology / digital project
- Knowledge in Japanese/Chinese or other Asian businesses and culture
- Fluency in Japanese/Chinese or other Asian languages is preferable but not a must (you will be offered a variety of trainings)
