Pension Services team, which sits under Reward & Pensions in HR Division, are responsible for providing an accurate, efficient, timely and confidential pension service, internally, to UCL and its employees, and externally, to the Pension Schemes provided by UCL, whilst adhering to all statutory and compliancy regulations and ensuring agreed service standards are met.
Global Mobility team which also sits under Reward & Pensions, are responsible for UCL’s Global Mobility Policy. Working with UCL’s Global Mobility Service provider, the team interprets host country tax and social security regulations to ensure compliance and coordinates a variety of administrative tasks to ensure compliance with government regulations associated with expatriates.
About the role
As part of the Pensions Team and in strict accordance with pension and financial regulations, the post-holder is responsible for the reconciliation of all pension account transactions, monthly pension scheme remittances and the management of contribution returns from pension schemes. They will bring to the attention of the Head of Pensions any areas of financial discrepancy and provide solutions on managing these.
As part of the Global Mobility team, the post-holder is responsible for liaising UCL’s Global Mobility service provider, ensuring they have access to essential information for UCL staff working abroad. The job holder will be responsible for maintaining documentation, processing foreign payments, preparing simple payroll deduction files, and managing invoice processing.
About you
The successful postholder will have significant experience of working in an accounts reconciliation role, including year-end processes and routines.
They will have an experience of working within a large complex organisation and they would have been managing multiple control accounts.
The ideal candidate would have gained knowledge working within a Finance function of an organisation. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate being great team player that also exhibits problem solving skills. We are looking for someone who has an accountancy qualification or at least studying towards one.
