Purpose of the role:

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Global OTC Operations Specialist for a 6-month rolling contract with strong likelihood of extension based in London 3 days per week and the rest at home.
The Collateral Management Group is combined with the Global OTC teams. This role will involve being part of the Global OTC teams who perform processes such as Trade Affirmation, Confirmation and Reconciliation. The Security Services team provide OTC and Collateral services to clients and the scope of this role is pivotal around your understanding of client requirements and the ability to bond with and update clients. The Oversight teams for OTC Middle Office sit in London and Paris and you will have a lot of communication with Portugal and India too.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Preparing and contributing to KPIs for clients and for management
- Ensuring that all KPIs are explained and investigated.
- Documenting and updating KPIs procedures
- Proposing KPIs enhancements for better risk monitoring and/or work efficiency
- Acting as point of contact for clients - managing the day-to-day relationship with clients.
- Preparing and contributing to client service reviews (reviews of operational performance and issues)
- Assisting Collateral Management and Global OTC Operational teams with the daily Operations Production
- Preparing and conducting the margin calls
- Reporting on margin call disputes (writing up succinct comments to explain margin call disputes based on reconciliations performed by the portfolio reconciliation team)
- Assisting with Trade booking, Valuations or matching issues.
What we require from the candidate:
Experience in some of these areas is essential:
- Valuations
- Transaction Management experience.
- Collateral Management
- Portfolio Reconciliations
- Trade Repository Reporting
- Ownership Verification and Record Keeping (OVRK)
- Client facing experience.
- Comfortable using Excel for the creation and maintenance of KPIs - including macros as well as PowerPoint to present to the client. Power BI advantageous to generate graphs for client presentations.
- If you are fluent in a European language aside from English this will be advantageous.
- Experience of using Calypso, Algo or Tri Resolve will also be advantageous.
