Role:-Global Process Quality Engineer

Location:- Ideally Doncaster but not essential (travel will be involved as part of the role)

Salary:- £,43,000 - £48,000 Depending upon experience


About the role

Do you want to be part of our Global Quality Team, this role is critical in our niche market.

As part of our ongoing growth and development we are recruiting for an experienced Global Process Quality Engineer to join our established Global team. As part of our Quality Team this role will be integral to the on-going facilitation and the coordination of the Global Quality function

Responsibilities


As a Global Process Quality Engineer, you will Lead and co-ordinate business/technical/manufacturing improvement activities through appropriate problem solving tools and techniques at all levels of our organization.


Have a strong Focus on the outcome of internal non conformance and customer complaints, and promoting and sharing the knowledge and information learnt throughout the group.


Where appropriate, lead the deployment of statistical methodologies to aid root cause analysis predominantly product and process related issues.


Promote a quality culture that results in behaviors, attitudes, activities, and process that consistently deliver value and expected results.


Duties will consist of but aren’t limited to:-


  • Analyse and reporting of global quality data (customer complaints, inter unit NC’s, internal NC’s) and develop action plans for effective and efficient resolution.

  • Project lead for the ‘Top 3’ group non-conformance improvement projects.
  • Representing and driving quality related improvements within business strategic projects.
  • Investigation and support of global complex complaints.
  • Support and co-ordinate with other business improvement initiatives (BCE, NPS, customer complaints ‘Boost’ program, inter unit NC’s, internal NC’s) and develop action plans for effective and efficient resolution.

  • To maintain and improve the quality management system, in accordance with International Standards such as ISO9001. To undertake internal audits in accordance with Bridon policies and procedures, complete audit reports, issue non conformances and verify corrective actions.

  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures (including health, safety, environmental and quality) are personally adhered to, taking a ‘no walk past’ approach

The Ideal Candidate will possess or be able to demonstrate:-


  • Comprehensive knowledge of QA fundamentals.
  • Previous experience / Working knowledge of problem solving tools e.g. 8D techniques and problem solving tools.
  • Ability to analyse data to establish priorities.
  • HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including technical report writing skills and experience of delivering presentations.
  • Able to lead improvement teams and gain their support in order to achieve desired outcomes.
