Location: Colchester, Essex
Goods in Inspector required for plant machinery business in Colchester. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a stable and sought after business, joining a small team you will ensure the smooth running of the warehouse.
Day to Day Duties
- Receiving goods from manufacturers and suppliers.
- Inspection of goods against customer orders.
- Packing of goods for export.
- Liaising with buyers over discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Unloading and loading of vehicles
Key Skills and Experience
- The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate good basic IT literacy (I.E Word, Outlook etc)
- A keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic and experience in Goods inspection.
- Forklift license would be of benefit but not essential
- Applicants must be confident enough to work under their own initiative but also have the confidence to ask if unsure.
Salary & Benefits
- £25,000.00 per annum
- Bonus: The Company runs a bonus scheme. Details would usually be provided at the end of the first year of employment.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700, with one hour lunch
- Annual leave: 25 days per annum plus public holidays.
