Permanent role in Uxbridge
All candidates must have previous experience as a Goods Inwards Inspector, Quality Inspector, Mechanical Inspector or Electronics Inspector, in the Goods In department of a manufacturing company.
- Responsible for the Goods Inwards Inspection of parts and components which are delivered to the company
- Inspection of mechanical component and electronics assemblies
- Inspection in accordance with specifications and requirements
- Record all inspection on the in-house ERP system (training on specific system will be given)
- Handle non-conformances, and complete all relevant documentation / administration duties
- Calibration and general maintenance of inspection equipment
Essential Experience includes:
- Manufacturing/engineering industry experience as an Inspector, ideally within Electronics manufacturing.
- Ability to read/understanding detailed drawings and diagrams
- Use of manual measuring equipment such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Slip Gauges, & Faro Arm.
- Computer Literate in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience of using a manufacturing ERP system to record inspection results
- Experience of processing non-conformances
Desirable – but not essential
- IPC training/certificates
- Awareness of ESD Control
- CMM experience
