We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our teams in Omagh. We currently have an opportunity for a Goods in Quality Inspector.

About the Role
  • This role involves the Inspection of chassis
  • Random inspections of any other received parts as deemed necessary e.g. tanks, electrical kits, hoses etc.
  • Visiting suppliers to complete NPPD inspections and help with problem solving
  • Raising supplier reject notes for defects found
  • Arranging rework with suppliers
  • Input into jig requirements and equipment requirements to ensure inspections can be fully completed
  • Completion of traceability records
  • Internal auditing
  • Actively address quality concerns on a day to day basis
  • Responsibility to escalate any on-going issues
  • Supporting In Quality investigations as required
  • Supporting other inspection activities e.g. inspection of internal fabrications
About you
Essential:
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good team work and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong rapport
  • Good awareness of health and safety
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to create clear hand written reports
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of Terex machines
  • Welding/fabrication experience
  • Paint experience
  • Experience in continuous improvement
  • Experience in an inspection / quality role
