Description
Newport Pagnell Medical Centre is seeking new talent to help provide a high standard of face to face and telephone care for patients, staff, and visitors whilst always maintaining patient confidentiality.
Main Duties/Key Tasks at Newport Pagnell Medical Centre:
- Greet patients, doctors and visitors at Reception in a polite and friendly manner.
- Answer the telephone promptly and courteously.
- Make appointments using the computerised appointments system.
- Administer the procedure for repeat prescriptions.
- Open and sort all Medical Centre post, both internal and external.
- Deal with general enquiries from patients and visitors in a helpful and efficient manner.
- Support colleagues to maintain an efficient and friendly team atmosphere.
- A positive attitude.
- Confidence and calmness.
- A willingness to ask for help.
- Empathy and understanding.
- Persistence and determination.
Good level of English for both verbal and written communication.
Training to be provided
Training at Milton Keynes College.
Full training and support in the workplace.
