Graduate Accounts Assistant

Page Personnel are recruiting for a Graduate Accounts Assistant on behalf of a successful high end retail business based in Manchester.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the day to day accounts and month end with room to progress into more advanced accounting duties with study support & mentoring.

Description

Duties will include:

• Purchase ledger
• processing invoices
• payment runs
• bank reconciliations
• Sales Ledger
• ensuring accurate & timely billing
• Month end activities
• assisting with journals, prepayments & accruals

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be educated to degree level OR be a highly numerical AAT studier
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be proficient in MS Office
• Be able to work to tight deadlines
• Be able to work alone or as part of a team

Job Offer

A salary up to £27,000 DOE, study support, pension, holidays & more
