Post Title: Graduate Apprentice Mechanical Engineer
Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: HC03 - HC09 £22,659 - £44,790 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of HC03 before progression begins.

JobPurpose: To be responsible for the design, specification and preparation of bills of quantities for Electrical Building Services Engineering services in association with the Council’s property portfolio and current housing stock.
To be responsible for the building energy and engineering design & operation simulation, for building engineering services in association with the Council’s property portfolio and current housing stock.
To provide professional and technical advice and information on all aspects of energy from building services design, operation and maintenance in buildings, in line with the Council’s policies.

Requirements
4 Highers at BBBB to include Maths and either Engineering Science, Physics or Technological Studies, English at Nat 5 grade C or above if not held at Higher.
Note: RGU necessitates their students to undertake a Mathematics Assessment (with minimum pass requirements) as a necessary entry requirement for the degree courses.
