Blackpool Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Planner to work at the heart of the most ambitious resort revival for a generation - an unprecedented £2 billion growth agenda comprising private and public sector investment which is transforming Blackpool. The Planning Strategy Team is seeking a talented Graduate Assistant Planner who is passionate and committed to addressing the challenging regeneration issues facing the resort. This full time post provides you with a great opportunity to make a major contribution and be involved with a wide range of planning and regeneration issues and to be responsible for:
- Supporting and assisting senior officers in the development of emerging strategy, policy and evidence for the new local plan and other planning documents;
- Supporting public consultations and engagement on the new plan and other supporting documents;
- All things monitoring including the production of the Authority Monitoring Report, the Housing Monitoring Report, the 5 year land supply, the Employment Land Review.
