We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Darlington, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his family home.

Meet our service user

Our service user is a cheerful 10-year-old girl who lives with her family in Darlington and requires support throughout the day with her complex needs.

She loves exploring sensory and messy play activities such as painting, jelly bath, sand, clay, baking, and slime. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends and care team and spending time outdoors especially the summertime.

Throughout the day you will provide support with her personal care, moving and handling, attending to her clinical care needs when required, and assist her to enjoy her hobbies and interests. Home schooling is also part of her routine, and you will be required to support and engage in her learning and development.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

• 3 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of cerebral palsy
• Seizure Management
• Ventilation Management
• PEG Feeding

We have the following shifts available;

• Part time Days Available
• 2 shifts per week
• 8:00am- 5:00pm

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £117 per 9-hour shift)

Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £126 per 9-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £15.50 per hour (Approx. £139.50 per 9-hour shift)
