About the opportunit y
At Jacobs, our Decommissioning & Regeneration Solutions business brings decades of experience to decommissioning and clean-up, drawn from our work at the world's most challenging nuclear sites. Safety case management, environmental and radiological consultancy, and health physics support go hand in hand with our core engineering capabilities, ensuring an unrelenting safety ethos. We apply strategies to minimize waste volumes requiring final disposal and we implement innovative decommissioning and decontamination processes for U.K. clients including Sellafield Ltd., Magnox Ltd and Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd.
BIM is a process for creating and managing information on an engineering or construction project throughout its whole life cycle. As part of this process, a coordinated digital description of every aspect of the built asset is developed, using a set of appropriate technology . It is likely that this digital description includes information-rich 3D models and associated structured data such as product, execution and handover information. Internationally, the BIM process and associated data structures are best defined in the ISO series of standards.

You will be based in the Bristol Office
Here's What You'll Need:
  • Be working towards a relevant Degree or master's level qualification such as Engineering, Construction or Civil.
  • Develop BIM procedures & standards integrating their implementation into projects.
  • Coordinate the work of others (engineers, technicians, and 3rd parties) when leading BIM production.
  • Develop engineer's concepts and outlines into accurate models and technical drawings, through direct interaction.
  • A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward .
  • Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things .
  • You must have the permanent right to work in the UK .
