Are you a graduate who has recently qualiafied from an Engineering / Renewable specilism? Are you looking to kick start your career with an established and rapidly growing Solar PV specific company?
This Renewables firm are a recognised player across the UK within their field and currently looking to rapidly expand their teams within the business, with a specific focus on their technical team. They hold 10+ years within their field, primarily focusing on Solar PV, ranging from domestic to 50MW + Solar Farms. They're now seeking a driven graduate, looking to transition over to a professional environment, whose eager to receive training and progression opportunities within a specialised and booming sector.
In this role the Graduate Electrical Designer will be working alongside a team of 4 other designers, ranging from Graduates to Senior Designers and reporting to the Technical Manager, who will assist with your professional development. You will be enrolled on external training course, to keep up with an ever changing industry, whilst also receiving in house and on the job training opportunities to showcase and develop your skills.
The ideal candidate will hold Engineering / Renewable specific knowledge, have a postive, can-do attitude and be excited about the idea of entering their professional career.
The Role:
* Carry out system designs, including shading analysis and 3D modelling
* Support design and technical colleagues with site surveys
* Working with the technical team
* Contacting suppliers and sub-contractors to develop and deliver technical solutions
* In depth training and progression opportunities
* Office based - Monday - Friday
The Person:
* Recent graduate looking to enter a professional environment and gain experience within their relevant field
* Positive, enthusiastic and driven individual
* Proven experience using AutoCAD
* Hold an Engineering / Renewable Energy degree
