Cammach are recruiting a Graduate Electrical Engineer to work within our clients ROV department on a permanent basis, located in Aberdeen.
ROLE
The Successful Graduate will work in the ROV asset department in Aberdeen. They will be required to develop knowledge of ROV equipment and systems to provide technical support in future years.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning Goals:
- Develop electrical/electronic knowledge on the ROV and Equipment operated.
- Gain an understanding of the software control systems used in the ROV.
- Acquire knowledge on the ROV tooling used.
- Enhance practical and theoretical skills to assist with supporting ROV operations.
- Learn to use drawing programs and databases.
- Participate in various offshore assignments to gain an understanding of ROV operations during project and maintenance periods.
- Engage in various onshore tasks to understand company processes.
Target Responsibilities:
- Develop a wide range of ROV technical experiences to provide technical assistance / input as required.
- Undertake various engineering/technical projects to assist the ROV support engineers and offshore teams.
- Participate in various electrical, electronic and software development/upgrade projects.
- Collaborate with third-party companies to improve current designs and develop new ones.
- Conduct analysis of ROV systems and equipment to identify potential improvements/efficiencies.
- Engage in various ad hoc projects and activities requiring engineering support or analysis.
- Produce engineering reports to support technical investigations.
