One of the UK's leading geotechnical contractors, with expertise in ground investigation and stabilisation, are seeking a proactive geology graduate to join their team in Watford. Performing in a water monitoring and engineering geology based position, you'll be largely working on site, taking samples and assisting the team on a range of projects. As a Graduate Engineering Geologist you will initially be working on a large scale water monitoring project requiring technician site work - taking samples, monitoring materials and assisting the wider team where required. As a result, an interest in working outdoors in a hands-on role is essential. The position will develop into a site investigation and engineering geology role over time, carrying out site work, supervising site investigations and report writing, all while focussing on your continued professional development and training supplied by specialist engineers.

To be successful in this Graduate Engineering Geologist role, you should:

• Have a degree in geology, engineering geology, environmental science, physical geography or another relevant subject.
• Have a keen interest in outdoor, hands on work.
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be proactive and thrive when working as part of a team.
• Have a full UK driving licence, as driving to sites will be frequent (this is essential).
• Full right to work in the UK.
