Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Main office in Crewe, with warehouses in Crewe, York, and Scotland
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Pension: Pension scheme with 4% employer contribution
Life Policy: 4x salary
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced project manager to oversee the electric installation of railway substations, high voltage, repair, and switchgear. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in project management in the rail industry. This role does include a company car.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the electric installation of railway substations, high voltage, repair, and switchgear
- Managing project timelines and budgets
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Project Manager would be responsible for:
- Non-Rail & Rail depots and stations supply and installation nationwide
- HV & LV installations
- Equipment and cabling OLE
- Signalling power
- Lineside power, points heating and controls
- Off-site manufacture to include but not limited to the build of
- DNO cabinets
- Control panels/equipment
- Substation build
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management in the rail industry
- Experience in the electric installation of railway substations, high voltage, repair, and switchgear
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
