SalaryMy Client, a bespoke Flood Risk and Drainage Consultancy, based in the heart of Brighton, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their Team based in Brighton.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk, Environmental and Drainage Projects for Residential, Commercial, Education, Equestrian and Healthcare Projects for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients. You could even have the chance to design engineering solutions for sport stadiums!
As a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete technical work including;
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
-Flood Consequence Assessments.
-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
-Drainage and sewerage design using microdrainage and causeway flow.
-Design of drainage solutions for residential, commercial, healthcare, sporting, equestrian and educational projects.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and ideally a dissertation or experience focused on Flood Risk or Drainage Engineering.
It is essential for applicants to reside locally and have a keen interest in Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage solutions.
You will be expected to work from the office on a hybrid basis for training purposes.
