As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate HSE Advisor to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Graduate HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards of our projects. You will work closely with our experienced HSE team, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the successful delivery of our projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career in HSE within the dynamic and challenging environment of civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Support the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Participate in HSE training and awareness programs for site personnel.
- Assist in the preparation of HSE reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant HSE legislation and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HSE principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proactive and eager to learn and develop in the HSE field.
- Knowledge of HSE legislation and regulations is desirable.
- Valid UK driving license is preferred.
