Caudwell Marine is part of the Caudwell Group, and we are now opening applications for the Graduate Business Management Scheme.
Successful candidates will gain an insight into all areas of our fast-growing business, with opportunities for rapid internal progression and continued personal development.
We are now recruiting for the scheme to start in September 2024.
Caudwell Marine (CM) is a start-up business backed by the billionaire and philanthropist John Caudwell and is developing an innovative, patented outboard motor for launch in 2024.
The CM organisation is a small, experienced team of people who are passionate about successfully bringing this technologically leading outboard motor to market. Each team member has a ‘hands on’ approach and supports each other for the benefit of the programme.
What you will be doing
During the two-year Graduate Business Management Programme, you will have responsibility from day one. It will provide you with the opportunity to rotate across the business, gaining vital experience in the across all areas of the business, including but not limited to Operations, Procurement, Engineering, IT and HR.
As well as hands-on experience in our office, you will gain experience of our boat operations as well as how we test the product to ensure readiness for market.
We will provide relevant in-house training from our senior management team, along with an assigned mentor to support you. This will be supplemented by external training that is tailored to your own personal development as required.
In addition:
• You will rotate between departments to gain insight into all areas of the business.
• You will develop key management skills, from rostering to reporting, and can implement these directly.
• You will collect information and report findings back to the team on your progress and key learning outcomes.
• You will operate alongside the CEO to gain a full insight of managing a business, who will also provide you with guidance and advice on your own career path.
As part of the scheme, you will have the opportunity to take up positions within other areas of the business which may mean relocation around the UK.
The Ideal Graduate Business Management Scheme candidate:
• You are on course for or have gained a minimum of a 2:1 in a business or management related degree.
• For candidates who have studied or are studying other disciplines and have a real interest in business and Marine sector, please do apply.
