We are currently recruiting for a Global Client who are looking for a recent Engineering Graduate interested in working within the Renewable Energy & Offshore Sector.
Our Client is an advanced technological and engineering platform for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants.
They are currently looking for an engineering graduate to focus on engineering materials and welding fabrication.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects - ranging from offshore wind farms to oil and gas infrastructures.
Requirements:
• A recent graduate in a relevant engineering discipline
• Some work experience or a postgraduate qualification in Material Engineering would be advantageous.
• A theoretical background in ferrous alloys and corrosion resistance alloys (CRA)
• Understanding of chemical and mechanical properties as well as manufacturing processes in relation to alloys used in offshore / subsea applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• The ability to communicate clearly and with purpose
