I am are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join a specialist modular contractor who specialise in the healthcare and data centre sectors. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the whole project lifecycle, from product research and sales support to technical design, production, installation, and commissioning.

To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in healthcare / pharmaceutical facility design or have significant experience in Mechanical Engineering in the data centre sector. You will be responsible for various aspects of design, requiring close collaboration with clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead small-scale projects, overseeing research, development, and assisting with design activities related to mechanical installations, systems, equipment, and facilities
• Conduct surveys, tests, and generate reports on existing electrical and mechanical installations
• Specify activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing align with functional specifications and customer requirements
• Collaborate with sales teams on concept designs and value engineering
• Work closely with project managers, building Management System (BMS) engineers, and technical designers within the company's Technical Team.

Requirements:

• HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Ideally working towards or have achieved MCIBSE/MIEE or equivalent
• Experience in Mechanical Engineering within the healthcare / pharmaceutical sector or data centre sector
• Proficiency in relevant design software and superior computer skills
