Responsible for managing New Projects within the Blowers Team from
MAIN DUTIES OF JOB:
- Liaising with internal customers, sales team and the client to develop the blower specification and design.
- Compilation of picklists and BOMs for blowers using the Access ERP System.
- Monitor component use, identify stock requirements, and place orders in a timely manner to meet the needs of the production activities such as castings, mechanical seals, and bearings etc.
- Manage blower costs and timescales to agreed project milestones.
- Problem solving issues within design, production, and operations and driving efforts to deliver solutions and recovery plans to meet deadlines.
- Compiling blower build and test documentation and issuing to the production team, including internal data sheets, material specifications, component specifications, manuals, ITPs.
- Monitor, control and report job status, progress, issues, and other operational updates to other departments and senior management.
- Compilation and issue of despatch information.
- Support continuous improvement activities within the Blowers Team.
