We provide a definitive range of services to the UK building and construction industry covering civil & structural engineering, building & quantity surveying, clerk of works, project management, employers agent, architecture, mechanical & electrical engineering, sustainability, building information modelling, development monitoring, expert witness, rights of light, party wall and health & safety.

Position

Job Description:
As a Graduate Architect with 2-3+ years of experience at calfordseaden you will be an integral part of our design and project management process. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Design Development:
  • Collaborate with senior architects to develop architectural concepts and design solutions.
  • Produce detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and 3D models.
  • Assist in site analysis and design research.

2. Project Management:
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines and budgets.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project goals are met.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and schedules.

3. Construction Documentation:
  • Develop and review construction documents, including plans, specifications, and details.
  • Coordinate with engineering and other design disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

4. Sustainability and Innovation:
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in sustainable design and integrate eco-friendly solutions into projects.
  • Research and implement innovative technologies and materials.

5. Collaboration and Mentorship:
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a creative and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in an architecture firm.
  • Proficiency in Revit design software is essential and a test will be conducted during interview process.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of building codes and regulations.
