SalaryOur client is a leading contract research organisation specialising in food & drinks testing. Due to an exciting new partnership, they are establishing a brand-new state-of-the-art testing laboratory in Guildford and are seeking a number of individuals to build their team!
Working predominantly laboratory-based, you will undertake a large variety of assays to determine contaminants and taints within wines and spirit samples. In addition to wet chemistry techniques such as titrations, you will also be trained in sensory and taste analysis. As a contract testing laboratory you will work to tight deadlines, ensuring work is completed to regulatory guidelines, as well as undertaking general laboratory maintenance such as instrument troubleshooting and calibration.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic Chemistry graduates (or closely related), or industry experienced Scientists with a background undertaking wet chemistry testing such as titrations. You must be a confident communicator and have excellent team working skills.
