Graduate Software Developer (Full Stack)
NoMuda creates VisualFactory, which is a web-based manufacturing system used by companies around the world. Our customers are major manufacturing organisations who make everything from cars to planes to electric buses and deep-sea robots. The software is used to provide detailed manufacturing instructions, collect real-time manufacturing data and can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud.
To ensure that we are creating and delivering the very best we can to our customers, we are looking for people to join our technical team as Software Developers.
What will I be developing with?
To give you an idea of our technology stack, our production code is written using:
- dotnet 7+ using C#
- Angular 7+ using TypeScript
- CSS using Tailwind
- MS SQL Server
- Git
- MQTT
- Containerisation
If you have experience with most of these technologies, we’d really like to hear from you; it's not an exhaustive list, but the main ones we use.
Some other skills we would find useful include:
- Knowledge of a manufacturing environment and LEAN methodologies (to understand our customers)
- Working in an Agile environment (how we work)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS)
- Experience using and building containers (Docker)
- Using JIRA
- Virtualisation
- Tailwind framework
- Industry standards such as Modbus or OPC
What else do I need?
Full stack mentality - you will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for both new software features and bug fixes. Naturally, there will be areas you can specialise in, but the ability to jump in where needed is important.
Ability to work with other departments – to make sure everything works as smoothly as possible, you will be working in partnership with our Customer Success team.
Development team experience – our product is complicated so initial training will be about VisualFactory rather than code.
Your own transport – our office is in a beautiful rural Warwickshire location, so you will need a valid drivers licence and your own transport.
The right to work in the UK – unfortunately, we cannot offer visas or sponsorship at this time.
What’s in it for me?
Starting salary is £28k per annum.
We provide a whole raft of things to make working here as enjoyable as possible:
- Flexible working options
- 20 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays
- Dog friendly
- Pension
- Stunning rural location for lunchtime walks/exercise
- Opportunity to travel to customer sites
What is NoMuda really like?
It is a pretty unique experience! Our office is deep in the Warwickshire countryside where the only traffic jams we face are ones caused by sheep. We are a small, tight-knit group of people passionate about creating success. Whether for our customers, ourselves or each other. We do this by developing solutions with smart simplicity, agile collaboration, being curiously creative, acting with passionate integrity and encouraging independent initiative.
The business owner started coding VisualFactory and is still heavily involved in the day to day running of the business, so your work will be invested in from the highest level in the business.
Our offices are commutable from Stratford-Upon-Avon, Henley-in-Arden, Warwick, Coventry, Redditch, Bromsgrove, South Birmingham, Solihull, Leamington Spa, Alcester, Kenilworth.
I’m interested! What next?
