Empowering Learning is seeking dedicated individuals, particularly psychology graduates and those interested in a career in special education, to join our team in alternative provisions located in Slough.
Position: Full-time (5 days a week), 8:30 am - 4:20 pm
Salary: 75- 95 per day
Requirements:
- Passion for working with young learners with social and emotional mental health needs.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and adept at setting clear boundaries.
- Desirable: Experience in youth work, youth support work, or with young offenders.
- Ability to work with children aged 5-11 years old.
- Familiarity with special needs such as ADHD, SEMH, ASD, and complex needs.
- Excellent behavior management skills and thorough knowledge of safeguarding.
