Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working with a rapidly growing planning consultancy in their search for an Graduate Town Planner to join their team in Cardiff. The successful Graduate Town Planner will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the residential, commercial and leisure sectors.

For this role candidates are sought with:

• A relevant Town Planning related BSc/MSc (or equivalent)
• Some previous planning experience, preferably within a consultancy environment
• An ambition to pursue Chartered Membership with the RTPI
• A full UK drivers licence

Duties:

• Supporting the team with the delivery of a variety of complex projects
• Delivering expert planning advice to clients and landowners
• Responding to client planning enquiries, producing tender documents and negotiating with statutory consultees
• Keeping planning portals up to date
