We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Food and Safety Team as a Graduate Trainee Food and Safety Officer.
The role:
Your role will be to complete the EHP Portfolio and Professional discussion within the 12-month contract. You will also be expected to deliver a wide range of regulatory and advisory activities covering occupational health and Safety, food safety, infectious disease control, skin piercing registration and port health, at a level appropriate to your qualifications, experience and competence and having regard to codes of practice and associated guidance.
What you will need:
We are looking for someone who holds an accredited qualification in Environmental Health who wishes to become a Registered Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP) accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
