Grants Manager

We have a role for a Grants Manager with an incredible international childrens charity to play a pivotal role in identifying and developing funding opportunities within the UK and Internationally from a range of trusts and foundations.
This role can be hybrid or remote (with a minimum of once a month in the London office) with flexible working available, including flexi hours. Four days will also be considered.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, and part of a dynamic and ambitious fundraising team, you will manage the institutional, trusts, and foundations funding portfolio.
You will nurture relationships with existing funders to develop and maintain long-term giving, identify and research prospects, develop applications and help ensure grant funders have a great experience partnering with them.
You will work collaboratively with the Head of Fundraising and the wider team, to help design and deliver the Fundraising Strategy.
Map and monitor the external funding environment to find opportunities including new funding and partnerships.
Manage grants and build exceptional relationships with donors, inspiring them to continue their vital support.
Find and research donor prospects, developing plans for those worth pursuing.
Typically travel outside the UK once or twice a year.
The Candidate
You will have proven experience and a track record of securing income from a range of funders (five and six figures), creating compelling proposals and managing a pipeline.
With an eye for detail and the creativity to identify new opportunities, you will bring the energy and drive to deliver results for children.
In-depth experience of institutional, trust and foundation fundraising and knowledge of best practice fundraising techniques and experience in researching and developing funding prospect pipelines.
Experience building excellent relationships with donors.
