GTA Black Women In Tech are a global community based in London and are committed to building bridges of opportunities in tech. Their mission is to inspire, support and connect the tech sphere to allow more black women to excel, and tech companies to perform better through diversity and inclusion. Founded in September 2019, it is the 2nd largest working group of the Tech London Advocates Group. GTA Black Women in Tech is part of a network of more than 20,000 tech leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts in London, across the UK and in over 50 countries worldwide. Proudly independent, private sector-led, and not backed by the government, Tech London Advocates fundamentally believes that London is one of the world's leading tech hubs. 

Percival Resourcing is pleased to supporting them in their search for a bright and ambitious Grant Manager. Your primary role will be to secure funding and support for our organisation by approaching trusts, businesses, and individuals. You will play a crucial role in growing our non-profit organisation, increasing awareness, and driving donations. 

Your key responsibilities include: 

• Identify and approach potential funding sources, including trusts, corporations, and individual donors
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure financial support for GBWIT's initiatives
• Apply and secure grants Creating Communication Campaigns 
• Create and execute effective communication campaigns to engage donors and supporters
• Craft compelling messages and stories that resonate with potential donors
• Grant and relationship management, involving regular meetings and updates with our partners to include site visits, networking, and other events
• Monitoring the progress of grants against agreed targets, troubleshooting, and providing advice and support as necessary

Attributes and Skills:

• Ability to demonstrate sympathy with GTA Black Women in Tech's ethos, vision, and mission
• A passion for diversity and inclusion, particularly in the technology industry
• Experience of developing charitable work/projects and associated evaluation frameworks 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Proven ability to develop relationships with people at all levels 
• Confident, resourceful, and proactive - enjoys problem-solving and creating solutions
• A willingness to work as part of a small team, happy to join in and get involved
