Capella Professional are proud to be working with a long-standing client to source them a Graphic Designer with a creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time costs and deadlines.
The successful candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of graphic design styles and layout techniques. You should have the experience executing marketing projects from conception to production, including website, brochures, and other marketing collateral digitally and for print.
As a Graphic Designer, you will create eye-catching visuals and artwork digitally and for print on a variety of products and activities, including but not limited to:
· Website / webpages
· Advertising for a variety of media formats
· Designing brochures and literature
· Marketing collateral / posters / signage
· Product packaging
· Exhibitions stands, banners.
· POS displays
· Corporate communications / presenter materials
· Corporate identity / visual branding
· Film and studio photography.
Apart from technical and drawing skills, you will need to show:
· Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
· Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer, designer, or similar role.
· Portfolio of completed design projects.
· Hands-on experience with image editing software, like photo shop and adobe illustrator.
· Proficient in design software (e.g. InDesign / other)
· Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours fonts and layouts.
· Ability to write high-quality content as required.
· Attention to visual details.
· A flexible approach when working with teams.
· Good presentation skills and the confidence to explain and sell ideas to colleagues.
· Being open to feedback and willing to make changes to your designs.
· Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at once.
· Accuracy and attention to detail when finalising designs.
· Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team.
· Effective networking skills to build contacts.
Responsibilities:
· Develop design briefs.
· Think creatively to produce innovative ideas and concepts and develop interactive design.
· Find innovative ways to redefine a design brief within time and cost constraints.
· Present finalised ideas and concepts back to managers and account managers.
· Proofread to produce accurate high-quality work.
· Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches and work on layouts and ready for print artwork.
· Be proficient in studio photography.
· Work as part of a team.
