Role Overview:
Sitting within the Marketing team, the Graphic Designer and Brand Specialistwill be integral in working with the wider e-commerce, visual merchandising, and retail team to lead all brand design output across digital, print and collateral. You will support the Brand’s visual output from concept to design and delivery in line with the Global Directive Team’s vision in terms of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across multiple business channels and platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be the champion for the brand’s visual identity and support in innovating brand guidelines based on evolving direction from the Global Directive Team. Lead the design strategy for our brand, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing materials. Conceptualise e and create visually captivating assets for across key channels including email, digital, social, website, print and collaterals. Collaborating with the wider marketing team to understand campaign objectives and target audience that translates effectively into impactful and customer-centric designs. Develop and execute campaigns that are on-brand, effective and engaging in collaboration with the marketing team and key stakeholders. Ad-hoc photography for content creation as well as supporting team on photoshoots. Responsible for producing the concept mood boards for campaigns and still-life shoots. Autonomously managing the pre-shoot product planning, scheduling & test set design with wider marketing, E-Com and VM teams. Supporting on the styling/ wardrobing pre-shoot. Managing the creative art direction on still life and/or model shoots. Full responsibility for the post-production of images and videos (selecting & retouching notes, editing images, crops, and guidelines). Retouch and edit photography and video to a high-quality that meets brand standards. Work with the E-commerce team and Web development agency in updating web pages, so a good grasp of front-end web design and a basic understanding of HTML and CSS is helpful. Maintaining an image library of design assets, templates and style guides that is accessible to the wider team. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies to ensure our marketing design approach remains innovative and relevant.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
- Have a true passion for design, bring fresh new and unexpected ideas to the table. At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in concepting and delivering across digital and physical channels.
- Relevant portfolio that demonstrates a proven track record in creating strong and effective work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience in animation would be advantageous meaning an understanding of storyboarding and Adobe After Effects is desirable. Have a firm foundation in visual design principles – a good understanding of how design elements such as shape, color, typography, and space, working together to drive engagement, visual attraction and increase usability. Have a great eye for detail, take pride in creating work to a very high standard. Ability to artwork for both print and digital Proven Photography experience Proficiency in video and photography editing and retouching. Appreciation and knowledge of usability and online customer experience A creative self-starter who proactively seeks opportunities and generates solutions. Prior experience working with Shopify would be a plus. Good communication and keen problem-solving skills Interest in research, innovation and development and keeping up to date with creative and market trends. Locate in London and willing to work 5 days per week at the office, store or on-site for shooting.
