Location: London/Suffolk (hybrid working arrangements).

Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time.

Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.

Salary: £50,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

The Opportunity

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graphic Designer you’ll act as the Sizewell C brand guardian, executing eye-catching visuals across both print and digital.
Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.

The Role

The Sizewell C project internal communications team is growing to reflect our rapidly increasing needs. You’ll work closing with the Senior Internal Communications Manager.

You’ll forge and manager close relationships with all areas of the project, taking briefs and developing high-quality creative design work.

You’ll champion brand guidelines, ensuring that all touchpoints are consistent, and will be passionate about producing compelling work that delivers cut-through and supports our drive to deliver best-in-class content.

The Skills

You’ll be passionate about design, with an eagerness to deliver and push for the best.

You’ll have your finger on the pulse of the design world and be excited about new channels and innovations within the creative field.

You’ll have experience of presenting, your ideas confidently and clearly across the project, ensuring your creative response aligns with the business needs.

You’ll be proficient in the Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Ideally you will have knowledge of Adobe Animate, Affect Effects and Premier Pro.
