Your new role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our Group Marketing team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for creating visual concepts that inspire, inform, and captivate our clients and audiences both internal and external. You will work across marketing, communications and the business units to develop creative solutions for a variety of channels, including digital and out of home.
The standard hours of work are Monday – Friday based on 37.5 hours per week.
This is a remote role with travel to our central London, Birmingham, Manchester, or Didcot offices when necessary (for meetings and specific projects). The salary range for this role is £26,000 - £34,000.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and producing a wide range of materials, including adverts, brochures, presentations, social media and website visuals, promotional and event displays
- Collaborating with the Marketing Team to develop and execute creative strategies that meet business objectives
- Ensuring brand consistency across all visual designs and communications
- Providing creative input and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
- Staying up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies
We want to hear from you if you have:
- A degree in graphic design or related field
- Proven graphic design experience in a similar role
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite knowledge (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Advanced PowerPoint knowledge
- Good working knowledge of wider Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience in animation and basic video editing is desirable
- Excellent visual communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to challenge processes and escalate issues through appropriate channels and engage staff at various organisational levels
- Understanding of visual storytelling, data visualisation and information design concepts
- Strong time and project management skills, able to prioritise, manage and execute creative design projects from concept to production and manage multiple tasks effectively to agreed deadlines
- Keen attention to detail in the creation, development and incorporation of design work
- Enthusiastic, passionate and positive team player
- Experience with UI/UX using Figma or Adobe XD
