Salary: £26,648 Pro Rata

The project:

Green Meadows aims to equip the Meadows community with the knowledge and skills that it needs to take on the climate crisis challenge. This includes the creation and delivery of workshops and education programmes in schools, youth groups and the wider community. These sessions may involve guest speakers and contributors to create an exciting and varied programme covering a broad spectrum of topics. Sessions should also be developed with youth groups and clubs to provide creative educational activities involving art, drama, public speaking and nature, and will direct the young people and their parents into opportunities to engage in the wider Green Meadows programme.

The National Curriculum does not include an obligation to teach children about climate change or the impact of human activity on the planet.
