Grade and Salary: Grade 4 (£22,681 - £24,533)
FTE and working pattern: 35 hrs per week (1 FTE), rota based working pattern
Purpose of Role: The Grounds and Facility Assistant will support the preparation of the pitches and surrounds, as well as to support the Department Supervisors to ensure that the facilities are presented in a clean, safe and organised manner at all times.
Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Grounds
- Pitch preparations
- Maintain surrounds
- Ensure equipment is well maintained
- assist in recording test data
Facilities
- ensure Oriam is compliant in health and safety for users
- conduct facility setups in Oriam
- do facility cleaning within Oriam
- deliver Customer Excellence at all times
Education, Qualifications & Experience:

Essential
- Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to SCQF Level 5 or similar or equivalent experience
- Experience of working within a similar environment as outlined above
- Competent in the use of relevant IT packages
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrable professional and proactive approach
- Demonstrable ability to work quickly, flexibly and accurately in a dynamic, changing and pressured environment
- Demonstrable provision of excellent customer service
Desirable
- Educated to SCQF Level 6 or equivalent qualification
- Ability and willingness to learn new digital skills and capabilities appropriate to your role and how it evolves
- Understand and adhere to information security practices particularly as it relates to personal or sensitive information
- Maintain awareness of my own digital wellbeing by being mindful of the length of time spent at a screen and the impact on mental and physical health in using digital technologies
