The outcome of the council’s Total Pay and Reward review means the full-time salary for this position from 1st April 2024 will be £25,979 to £26,421. The salary will be pro rata for part time and term time vacancies.
A vacancy has arisen for a Grounds Chargehand with responsibility for the maintaining the grounds at Sewerby Hall & Gardens
The post is required to lead a small team responsible for maintaining the prestigious walled gardens, putting greens, seasonal flower displays and lawned areas at this popular tourist attraction.
The successful applicant must have a background in horticulture, with previous experience working in parks and gardens.
