ABOUT THE ROLE

The Daylesford Organic Farmshop is located on our beautiful 'model of excellence' organic farm in the Cotswolds. The farmshop and surrounding grounds are kept to a very high standard of excellence so that our customers can enjoy an experience that delights the senses. Your role will be to maintain and improve these high standards: trimming the hedges, pruning fruit trees, watering plants and cutting the grass, keeping the gates and fencing in good repair, and keeping the courtyards and car parks clean are what it's all about. You'll also take ownership for the upkeep and cleaning of the draining gullies, gutters, dog poo bins and assisting in keeping the Chelsea Garden events space, clean, tidy. mowed and planted.

You'll ensure the upkeep of maintenance equipment, keep the ATV clean and in good order and make sure the site's gritted in the winter months. It's a brilliant, hands-on role with loads of interaction across the site and a real impact on the way our Farm Shop looks, feels and operates.

You won't be alone. You will report directly to the Groundscare Team manager and together, be part of a passionate, enthusiastic, forward-thinking team maintaining the sites high standards of spit and polish.

SALARY: 24000
HOURS: Mon - Fri 7.30am - 4pm

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

We're looking for someone who's had some maintenance experience and knows their way around various trade tools. You'll be as keen on gardening as you are on maintenance. The wider business is surrounded by expert gardeners from who you will be eager to gain advice, as required. It's a real master-of-all-trades role for someone who loves the idea of working for a large, secure business where you can really make a long-term difference.
