My client is a global organisation, they are seeking an ambitious commercially minded Accounting Manager to join their team on a fulltime permanent hybrid basis 3 days WFH
Reporting into the financial controller the primary purpose of the job is to manage and oversee the purchase ledger and sales ledger department.
Key Role Responsibilities:
As a Group Accounting Manager, you will be an integral member of the Head Office Team. Your key responsibilities will include:
Management of the account’s assistants and credit control (Central Accounts Team)
Oversee all group sites purchase ledger posting of invoices paying suppliers in a timely manner.
Review of Purchase ledger across all sites for accuracy and risk.
Oversee all group sites cash books are posted daily and accurately and in a timely manner and reviewed.
Regular meetings and communication with Management Accountants to review accuracy of postings and concerns.
Oversee production of timely bank recs main supplier reconciliations.
1-2-1 reviews with central team.
Production of year end audit packs in compliance with our external auditors.
Report any financial risk to company in line with financial policy.
Cashflow forecasting daily.
Working accurately to month end /year end deadlines
Development and mentoring the team.
Strong people manager and hands on leading from the front.
Setting daily targets for the team to achieve by following a strict process.
Set a uniform process amongst the team.
