Interim Management Accountant

Job Title:Management Accountant
Reporting to: Head of Finance
Daily Rate: £250 - £300
Position Type: Temporary, Full time

Our fantastic client in Peterborough are currently seeking an Interim Management Accountant to fill a temporary gap in their finance team while they search for a permanent candidate. This will be on a short-term rolling contract, paid on a daily rate. This role does offer hybrid working

Responsibility for:

• Timely production of financial information including monthly Management Accounts
• Monthly reconciliations and investigation of variances
• Provision of financial reports to Senior Management and their Parent Company

Main Duties:

• Timely production of monthly management accounts to meet deadlines
• Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of variances
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packs
• Assistance in completing audits within set deadlines
• Reconciliation of Joint Venture AP and AR accounts, resolving discrepancies
• Continuous review of financial processes and procedures, initiating improvements
• Support to the finance team, including participation in team training
