Interim Finance Manager (ACCA /ACA)
Peterborough (Hybrid Working)
£60,000 - £70,000
You’ll be joining a highly respected and well-known brand - initially on an interim basis (6 month contract).
Your role is newly created as a result of an investment in new ERP and associated modern tech across the business. You’ll be supporting the current Finance Manager through his secondment to the project.
Fantastic opportunity for someone ACCA / ACA qualified. Highly flexible, Hybrid Working - 1 or 2 days per week in the office.

Your role is to lead on financial control, process improvement, enhancement and streamlining - supporting with the BAU and the system project.
You’ll provide hugely valuable technical accounting guidance and be heavily involved in monthly close & UK statutory accounts prep / presentation.
You’ll play an integral role in making reporting, controls and process absolute first rate - ensuring the business has completely reliable financial information. You’ll also review the balance sheet and ensure there is absolute integrity in the numbers.
Although interim it's a vital role with plenty of business / stakeholder interaction - your efforts and impact will be highly visible and appreciated.

If you are a technically capable ACA / ACCA Finance Manager / Financial Controller and are in a position to undertake a varied new project it would be great to speak.
Required:
- Strong technical accounting background (practice or industry) alongside ACCA or ACA.
- Ability to start in Q1 2024 and commit to an interim project.
- Strong IFRS / UK GAAP
- Ability to communicate confidently and ability to build relationships across the group.
- Previous success within interim positions would be useful.
