Group Bid Development Manager - (£80,000 - £120,000 + Package)
A leading national waste management company is looking for a Group Bid Development Manager to join their growing team, the right candidate will play a vital role in driving the company’s success by growing their customer base by gaining and securing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Taking charge of the tendering process for waste management projects and contracts.
* Analysing project requirements.
* Undertake site visits and assessments to gain relevant information for tender submissions.
* Lead the preparation and compilation of comprehensive tender documents.
* Work closely with the finance team to develop accurate cost estimates for waste management projects while evaluating and negotiating subcontractor quotes and pricing.
* Develop effective bid strategies to enhance the competitiveness of tender submissions.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
* Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of tender submissions.
* Review and improve tendering processes based on feedback and lessons learned.
* Participate in contract negotiations with clients to finalise terms and conditions.
* Collaborate with legal teams to ensure contract compliance.
Experience and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, environmental science, etc.).
* Proven experience in tendering and bid management within the waste management industry.
* Strong knowledge of waste management processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with relevant software tools for tender preparation and project management
