We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Group Executive Chef to be responsible for providing contracy culinary support. This is to include training in all aspects of Culinary development and delivery by in-unit teams, distribution and monitoring of the Food Offer and other supporting food offers, ensuring compliance of the Offer and Compass processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that safe procedures are followed in respect of all operational activities on behalf of all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure that all legislative and Compass Operational Procedures and standards are strictly adhered to, providing a consistent and safe service and product for all Compass employees and customers
- Support client functions and co-ordinate frontline team activities as and when required
- Proactively develop and continually improve client relationships at all levels
- Support relevant contract retention activities as required
- As part of the Central Food Operations Team, develop and deliver of all food offers, food innovations and concepts
- Ensure all new offers and menus are implemented and delivered to the required standard correctly in all units.
- To continually monitor food service delivery in all units ensuring outstanding delivery and service to all clients, customers and consumers
- Assist the lead Subject Matter Expert on all food related matters across the contract
- Assist and Support the Health & Wellbeing programme
- Support Supply Chain Ingredient Optimisation initiatives and deliver all key messages across the contract
- Support The Source - recipe and menu planning tool
- Provide unit support through training programmes, workshops, and monitoring of Foodservice standards
- Ensure that all elements of food delivery (labour and equipment) are regularly reviewed to ensure optimal delivery at all times
- Ensure recipe compliance is followed in accordance with all relevant legislation and Compass Procedures.
Our ideal Group Exec Chef:
Essential
- Minimum Professional Cookery Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Experience working in a culinary/catering role in a multi-site environment
- Passion for great food and excellent service delivery
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding culinary skills
- Ability to motivate and develop all levels of chefs
- Experience in training culinary skills
- Ability to deliver presentations to all levels confidently and accurately
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
- Financially astute with regards to food costings and margin management
- Ability to analyse and evaluate information
- Ability to work on own initiative but within set timed frameworks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable
- Advanced Food Safety
- Nutrition qualification.
