Our client is a highly acquisitive client in the healthcare / pharma sector.
Due to the growth of the business, I am looking for a Group Finance Manager to provide accounting support the CFO.
Responsible for managing the finance teams and all finance related activities across the Group.
What we are looking for:
You will be a fully qualfied accountant preferably with experience as an FC / FM from a growing SME business. Although the role is hybrid, there will be occasional requirements to attend other sites on a monthly basis.
About the role:
This is a brand new role within an established and fully functioning multi-site finance team. You will have team management responsibilities. You will oversee transactional and management accounting across all businesses whilst ensuring good financial controls are in place.
Annual audit, oversee treasury and cash management activities and support the CFO with analysis, budgeting and forecasting processes.
Responsible for the production of management accounts, KPIs and other Management Information, together with reviewing the balance sheet reconciliations of all businesses, overseeing HMRC compliance including review of VAT returns, management of credit control activities and administration of group insurances.
Skills and Experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work on own initiative and to deadlines.
* Strong leadership skills for effective management of the finance teams
* Highly proficient in Excel and able to work with complex Excel models
* Familiar with recognised accounting packages or ERP systems
* High level of attention to detail
* Adaptable and willing to provide practical support as required
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
