Group Finance Manager

Our client, an international, very profitable Group in Manchester are looking to appoint a technically strong Group Finance Manager to support the Group Financial Controller and CFO. The ideal candidate will be ACA Qualified from the Big 4, either an Audit Manager/Senior Manager, looking for their first move into industry or a second time mover looking to step up. Due to the nature of the business, this role is full time on site.
Salary: from £75,000 (candidates with higher salary expectations are encouraged to apply)
Location: Manchester (full time on site)
Responsibilities:
* Monthly Group consolidations, including presentation of accounts while continuously improving the consolidation process
* Midco and Topco accounts production
* Production of UK payroll and review of International payroll
* Oversight and review of subsidiary accounts
* Production of Group KPIs, including flash reviews
* Payment approvals
* Group wide margin analysis
* Overseeing a sizeable team
* Group cashflows
* Quarterly review of VAT returns
* Leading the annual audit and the key financial contact for all queries
* Production of Group statutory accounts
* Corporation Tax
* R&D computation
Requirements:
* ACA Qualified - Big 4 Trained - 1st or 2nd time mover
* Manufacturing/Wholesale/Retail/Logistics/FMCG or similar industry experience would be beneficial
* Strong UKGAAP skills
* International exposure would be beneficial
