Description
- Managing and delivering month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements.
- Ensuring the integrity of financial data by maintaining robust financial controls.
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Performing variance analysis and providing commentary on differences.
- Managing inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Participating in ad-hoc financial projects as required.
- Assisting in the development of junior team members.
Profile
A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:
- A strong background in financial reporting.
- Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
