Group Financial Accountant

The Group Financial Accountant role is an integral part of the Accounting & Finance team, with responsibilities for managing financial reporting and compliance in the Property industry. The position requires a candidate with strong accounting skills and a keen eye for detail.

Description

• Managing and delivering month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements.
• Ensuring the integrity of financial data by maintaining robust financial controls.
• Collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Performing variance analysis and providing commentary on differences.
• Managing inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Participating in ad-hoc financial projects as required.
• Assisting in the development of junior team members.

Profile

A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:

• A strong background in financial reporting.
• Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
