Group Financial Accountant

12-month maternity cover with a leading entertainment group based in London. The Group Financial Accountant plays a key role in delivering the internal and external reporting requirements for the UK group.

Role entails:

• Preparing consolidated balance sheet reports under US/UK GAAP
• Overseeing external audits (US GAAP), statutory audits (FRS 102), and internal SOX audit
• Preparing/reviewing group and individual statutory accounts (FRS 102)
• Assisting with lease accounting, tax calculations, budget/forecast updates
• Coordinating with Tax department, reviewing provisions and writing technical memos.
• Ad hoc projects - setting up new entities

Successful Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Up to date knowledge of Financial Reporting standards, including FRS102
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment
• Available immediately or with short notice
