Kenton Black Finance have partnered a well known and prestigious brand in Carlisle as they seek to strengthen their finance team. Established for 70+ years’, this multi-site business employ over 2000 staff and in line with exciting future plans, career development opportunities will be available. Amongst various other positions within finance, a technically strong Group Financial Accountant is required. This is an ideal move for a 1st time mover from Accountancy Practice, or for an experienced ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with industry experience who is seeking a technical and value adding position.

Your New Role as Group Financial Accountant:
As Group Financial Accountant, you will report to a high calibre Finance Director who will act as a mentor to facilitate career development opportunities. You will be responsible for:
• Preparation of consolidated management accounts, budgets and forecasts for Group and all associated subsidiaries
• Preparation of statutory accounts for all companies
• Cash flow reporting
• Leading the year end audit, liaising with external bodies including auditors
• Continual review and maintenance of systems and processes, ensuring robust controls
• Supporting senior management with potential acquisitions and re-structures
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered, you will be a technically strong ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with the ability to drive and challenge through change, demonstrating examples of implementing process improvements. You will ideally have group consolidation and financial modelling experience and you will have up to date knowledge of FRS 102 and accounting standards.
