SalaryWe are assisting a business based in Wimbledon to recruit for a Group Financial Accountant to work within a fast track growth business which has seen nearly 3 fold growth in the last 2 years. Hybrid working pattern is 4 in office 1 day at home. The client requires someone who has excellent excel, modelling skills and is able to drive as the work location is not easy to access via public transport.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the FD Building positive partnerships and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with Finance Team, senior managers and their teams to manage and drive improvement.
- Management reporting and analysis of group companies on monthly basis within 5 working days in group reporting pack.
- Ensure there is a co-ordinated and effective financial due diligence process across the organisation to support effective decision making and minimise risk.
- Initiates, coordinates and tracks financial processes improvements and ensures compliance with appropriate financial standards and best practices.
- Assisting the FD on leading and completing the budget for business review adhering to the budget setting process as defined by the FD and completing to timetable.
- Produce Sales revenue and profit margin analysis.
- Assisting the FD with monthly finance review.
- Support general month-end analysis particularly other areas of expenses not directly sales related.
- Assist the FD with providing analysis and insight, linking financial reports to business strategies.
- Undertaking project-based work for specific Tasks / business initiatives
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
- Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
- Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.
- Analyse financial performance, generate reports and financial analysis.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, FA register for group, Balance Sheet for group.
- Prepare tax returns, (VAT) reports, and other required documents.
- Monitor compliance with FRS102 and other relevant regulations.
